HEADLINE: BUYER BEWARE COUNTERFEIT, FAKE, KNOCK OFF (KO) ALERT CONTENT:
For the past 13 years, NRG Innovations has been a leader in the after-market auto industry bringing high quality products at affordable prices. This success is due in part to our loyal customers. With the brand’s rising popularity, it has come to our attention that there are counterfeit/fake/knock off (KO) NRG Innovations products on the market. These counterfeit products are often made with inferior materials, and do not undergo the rigorous testing and research and development that NRG Innovations products go through. It is because of these factors, that can lead to various malfunctions, breakage, and can cause bodily harm. Furthermore, these products are in direct violation with NRG Innovations intellectual property, copyright, and infringe on the United States patents that NRG Innovations holds on our short hub adapters, and quick release systems. NRG Innovations has a network of dedicated distributors, and sellers which we have carefully selected. By buying NRG Innovations products from our AUTHORIZED dealers and sellers not only are you guaranteed an authentic NRG Innovations product, you are also guaranteed the warranty, and service that comes with all NRG Innovations products. Buying from UNAUTHORIZED sellers will not carry any warranties or service, and unauthorized sellers will be placed on our DO NOT SELL(DNS)/DO NOT BUY (DNB) list.
As of Jan. 1, 2017, NRG Innovations has started its Authorized Dealer Program (ADP). This is a program is designed to let the consumer know whether or not he/she is buying an authentic NRG Innovations product from a dealer/seller in our distribution chain. Each dealer is issued a unique authorized dealer badge which they are required to place on all of their sites, advertising, and listings. The badge looks like this:
HOW TO SPOT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER:
As of Jan. 1, 2017, NRG Innovations has started its Authorized Dealer Program (ADP). HOW TO SPOT AN UNAUTHORIZED DEALER
Any dealer, seller, or reseller who does not have a NRG Innovations ADP badge listed on their advertisements, sites, or listings is not an AUTHORIZED seller. Look for the ADP badge to ensure that you are buying authentic parts. Please note that NRG Innovations does NOT directly sell our products on EBAY, AMAZON, or any third-party marketplace. For your protection, we have compiled a list of unauthorized dealers on our DO NOT BUY (DNB) list. list:
HOW TO SPOT A COUNTERFEIT ITEM:
-The product’s price: if the price is too good to be true, it is probably counterfeit. -Product Image: check the quality of the images on the listing or ad. If they are low quality or resolution, and if there is only one image of the product, it is probably counterfeit. -Cross branding: if you see an NRG Innovations product branded with another company’s logo, it is fake. NRG Innovations products are only branded with the NRG Innovations logo and trademark.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A COUNTERFEIT ITEM
If you believe a NRG Innovations product is counterfeit you can contact fake@getnrg.com to report it. If the product is seen on a third-party marketplace such as EBAY, AMAZON, or Jet.com report it to them as selling counterfeit products are in violation with their merchant guidelines. NRG Innovations values its customers and wants to protect them from these companies/dealers who are counterfeiting our products. We would like to build awareness to this issue by letting consumers know what to look for when buying NRG Innovations products. We hold a high standard for our products and are taking every precaution to ensure that the company’s reputation and the NRG Innovations brand is not weakened. Buying NRG Innovations products from AUTHORIZED sellers and dealers will ensure that you are not getting a counterfeit product. Be aware of what you buy, and who you buy from.
